About Debbie and Bruce

Bruce and Debbie’s business focuses on servicing client wants needs and desires. The Schwanbecks live their lives by being Faithful, Thankful, with Integrity, Conscientiousness, Diligence and Loyalty. As 25+ year-residents of the Cedar Creek Lake community, Debbie and Bruce have strong ties in East Texas. Having grown up in DFW and with family in the metroplex, they also have strong ties in the DFW area. Debbie and Bruce joined the Ebby Halliday Realtors® family to better assist buyer and seller needs in DFW as well as serving Cedar Creek Lake and East Texas. Many times Debbie and Bruce have helped clients achieve their first home and “Forever” home at a lake, in the country or in a residential neighborhood. Debbie grew up in Irving and Bruce grew up in East Dallas. They met at Texas Instruments, married in 1980 and settled in East Dallas. In the early 1990s, Debbie and Bruce moved to Cedar Creek Lake and raised three sons at the lake. Their sons, an Arlington fireman, Fort Worth paramedic, and Business Owner each have fantastic wives and have gifted Debbie and Bruce with 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and #8 is on the way. Debbie has a versatile background in customer service, marketing & advertising, retail ownership, computer software and tourism of the Henderson County area. Debbie earned an AAS in Business Management and a license in Real Estate. Having spent over two decades at Cedar Creek Lake, The Schwanbecks are experts in resort second home properties. Debbie is a certified Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), an Aggie Mom and past president and treasurer of the local A&M Mothers club. Bruce has 35 years of management experience in the lumber/building material industry. Moving into real estate sales was an easy transition. Bruce’s career took the family to Texas, Washington, Utah, and Idaho. His management skills and attention to detail in reading a blueprint to negotiating a contract is at your disposal. Bruce has spent his life in customer service, sales, and management. In his spare time, Bruce has served in Faith in Action Outreach, member of Cedar Creek Lake Rotary Club, past vice president of the Greater Cedar Creek Lake Chamber of Commerce, Mabank Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and president of a sports association.
