Mortgage rates are rising – We better get started NOW!

From our friends at Texas Premier Lending:

Mortgage rates have now risen eight weeks in a row! This is only the fourth time that the 30-year fixed has risen eight weeks in a row since 1985. The 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage is at its highest level since September 2014. This sustained rise in mortgage rates took housing economists by surprise. A couple of months ago, many of them were predicting that the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage would be around 4.25% at the end of 2017. That happened about a year ahead of schedule. This means that home buyers on the fence need to move sooner than later to take advantage of the lower rates before they rise even further! Today, we are looking at 4.125-4.25% on a 30 yr. fixed conventional for top tier credit scenarios.   | Debbie & Bruce Schwanbeck 469.283.8656
